Honesty, integrity, quality. In today's society, these words are quickly becoming relics of actions past and are moreover just baseless rhetoric. Recently, I purchased a used truck that needed front end work (ball joints, shocks, etc.), and set up an appointment with another shop to complete the work. Unfortunately, shortly after the purchase, my Grandmother (who lives out of state) unexpectedly passed away.The time-fline for the repairs had to be pushed up due to the funeral date and the original shop designated to do the work could not push up my appointment. I contacted Discount Wheel and Tire, explained my situation, and without hesitation told me they would be glad to assist. The parts were somewhat on the custom side and not available locally, so Jason, the Parts Specialist, exercised persistence (on my behalf) while dealing with a less-than-professional parts supplier to ensure I was taken care of. This business is top notch, from the owners, down to the newest team member, while I was sitting in the waiting room I noticed one of the staff purchase a snack from one of the machines for a customers child. I remember thinking, the last time I saw that type of consideration was when I was a child in my uncles country store, customers would pull in to get gas and he would raise the hood, check all the fluids, clean the windshield, check the tires, and "fill er up". Additionally, he would routinely give the customers children free hard candy or a free pop from the cooler box. In summation, customer service is alive and well at Discount Wheel and Tire. It's not simply a phrase, a baseless narrative, or an empty promise, it's an action made in ernest.
